CONTRAINDICATIONS
General
contraindications for the use of these implants include but are not limited to:
Acute or chronic, local or systemic infections
All concomitant diseases that may impair the fixation of the implant
Significant bone demineralization or insufficient quality or quantity of bone
blood supply limitations
Inadequate skin or musculotendinous system.
Allergy to the implanted material.
Severely comminuted fractures in which bone fragments are too small or numerous to adequately fix or maintain a reduced position
Psychologically unsuitable patient, which may cause patients to ignore the limitations and precautions of the implanted material, leading to implants fracture and complication.
Alcohol or drug addict
Any patient unwilling to cooperate with the post‐operative instructions.
Pregnancy
Contraindications may be relative or absolute. Users of this device must carefully weigh the advantages against possible complications and consider the patient's entire clinical exam in addition to the items listed above.
